  1. What information would you examine if your home had access to a global digital library? How much would you pay for access?
  2. If information is available through an on-line digital library, individuals would no longer need to keep copies of books or other documents in their homes. What are the problems that can arise if an entire society relies on a single source of information? Which do you consider most difficult to solve?
  3. Would you prefer to use a search engine to find information in a digital library or a human librarian to find information in a conventional library? Why?
  4. Have you puchased anything over the Internet? If so, what were your experiences. If not, would you consider buying over the Internet? Why or why not?
  5. One of the problems with e-commerce is the concern of using a credit card #. Discuss alternatives including digital cash.
  6. Describe the changes you have made to your website and discuss why you made these changes. (Post this discussion to the bulletin board)
  7. Help your classmates by making suggestions that they could use to improve their website.
