Information from diverse groups is archived under five headings, each corresponding to a key step in the sales process: Generating Leads, Proposal Efforts, Delivering Value, Closing the Sale and Customer Feedback. A Competitive Information section can link to competitors' Web sites and other hot links. Searches include file descriptions, filenames, reference to a sales cycle phase, or interest groups. Customizable user profiles ensure security by determining document access. Files can take any electronic form - from databases to traditional desktop applications and more. These might include presentations, literature, success stories, competitive briefs, internal bulletins, price lists, model contracts, policies, and more.
