Windows NT version UNIX version Marketing View of a Customer Database combines customer, sales, and historical data from a company's database to provide valuable information to marketing personnel. Managers can easily run a series of reports that pinpoint problem areas, growth areas, trends, and product line strengths and weaknesses. Each report displays a color graph and table containing relevant customer information. Reports include performance to plan, customer ranking, sales trend by customer, regional sales trends, lead sources, and gap analysis (particularly valuable for targeting marketing efforts to customers who are not buying certain products). A report filter option lets users focus reports on data relevant to their analysis. Managers can also create custom reports simply by selecting the desired customer, sales fields, or sort field. With Marketing Reporting Tool (MRT), managers can click a report type to generate any of six standard reports, or choose to create a custom report. The New Filter area lets users drill down to customer groups or individual customers as well as product groups and individual products. |
