MacFlounder uses the following software:

• Eudora Internet Mail Server:
  • The E-Mail software package.
  • This is a freeware program.
  • Set-up is simple and quick.
  
  
• Quid Pro Quo:
  • The software that runs the web server.
  • Also a freeware program.
  • Nice and easy to set-up. Initial set-up time took around 10:00 min.
  • Gives lots of examples to help the beginner.
  • I recommend it for those individuals that want to set-up personal server.
  
  
• Netpresenz:
  • Software package that gives MacFlounder FTP server capability.
  • This is a shareware program.
  • Set-up is also quick and easy.
  • Setting up accounts is done by using the 'Users and Groups Preference file'. So no having to redo accounts.
  
  
• Eudora:
  • LANL standard for sending/receiving e-mail.
  
  
• Netscape:
  • LANL standard for surfing the web.
