Class E

• The IANA reserves Class E addresses for research, testing, and experimentation.

• The Class E range starts where Class D leaves off. The first address in the experimental range is 240.

• No top range is listed because Class E is the final range defined. Therefore, Class E is everything above and including 240 (decimal) in the first octet.
