ROM Monitor mode

• ROM Monitor mode is indicated by a greater than sign (>) as the prompt.

• You can configure the router from ROM Monitor mode and you can initiate the startup process by typing startup at the prompt.

• You can force the router into ROM Monitor mode during router boot up if you press the [Ctrl][Break] keys within the first 60 seconds of the boot process.
