Access Control
The door to the wiring closet should be a minimum of three feet wide and swing out away from the room.
The wiring closet should be able to be locked from the outside, in order to control entry.
The room should be easily unlocked from the inside, so that anyone inside can get out in case of emergency.
Be sure to allow enough room between the equipment and the door for easy entry and exit.
