LAN Hardware
Almost every LAN will have the following five hardware components:
- servers
- workstations
- cable
- NICs
- hubs
The server provides services such as file and print sharing, database management programs, and email. Often, more than one server will exist.
The client computers are also known as workstations, stations, hosts, or nodes.
