EIA/TIA
EIA/TIA is made up of two organizations: the Electronics Industries Association and the Telecommunications Industries Association.
These two organizations frequently work together and have made significant contributions to network media standards. The most mentioned are EIA/TIA-568, EIA/TIA-568B, and EIA/TIA-569.
These standards define specifications for the performance, implementation, and design of networking media.
