GenCyber Summer Camp student TA Position
Description:
The summer camp needs four teaching assistant (TA). The primary responsibility of each TA is to help the instructors to teach middle school girls cybersecurity knowledge via history and storytelling. Each TA needs to be trained and understands the following activities: day 1-security in Medieval Kingdoms:Networks; day 2- Encrypting through history: how to hide your message;day 3 - Historical epidemics: from humans to computers; day 4 - The wild west, gangsters,a nd hackers: protect yoursel; day 5 - Emily post, etiquette vs. Ethics, and online behavior.
Workload and Stipend:
Each TA will work for 6 days (5 camp days plus Day 6) with 8 hours in each day.
The stipend is $100.00 per day.
Minimum Requirement:
1. be current CSU full/part time Junior or higher level student
2. have a desire to work with middle school students
3. pass a background check
The preference is to the students in Cybersecurity major.
