- Referring to Table 7.1, a) Convert the following binary number to hexadecimal: 0001, 1001, 11100111, and 1. b) Convert the following hexadecimal values to binary: 00-00-00 hex, 03 hex, and AA hex. c) (A tough one that will not be penalized if you cannot answer it.) What types of games use Base 13? How do they handle the values 11, 12, and 13?
- Referring to the opening vignette, a) What does a protocol analyzer do? b) What problem could the incomplete frames be indicating? c) Why is a jabbering NIC bad? d) How could May-Ling avoid problems like her inability to find the computer with the jabbering NIC?
