Jini’s Keys to Success
Three levels of SCSL participation are available to
provide licensees with several options:
Research Use-Free for researchers and students to examine and evaluate the Jini source code.
Internal Deployment-Free for organizations and individuals to deploy within.
Commercial Use-Fees are levied only for profit-making and commercial distribution.
- Companies that produce Jini compliant devices will pay a small fee for the Jini logo and trademark.
