On December 5, 1998, Valley Elementary and Middle Schools will be wired for Internet access. The Valley Elementary and Middle Schools are located approximately 30 miles outside of Las Vegas. The Valley schools are the last schools in both school districts in Las Vegas, NM to be wired, and the community in the area is very excited about the prospect of the school getting Internet access. This project is in cooperation with Network New Mexico and Netday USA in effort to wire schools to the Internet.
