Very Small Aperture Terminals (VSATs)
- Small dishes (1 meter in diameter or less)
- Do not concentrate signal as well as large dishes, so inefficient
- Do not focus as precisely as large dishes, so satellites cannot be spaced closely together
- However, inexpensive
- Used when there must be many ground stations
