Packet Filter Policy

The packet filter security policy is primarily limited to two conditions. Restricting access based on the IP address of the connecting computer and restricting access based on the Internet service that produced the packet.

The restriction(s) based on IP addressing can restrict entire networks or individual computers from accessing the protected network.

The restriction(s) based on Internet services can restrict traffic of certain Internet services while allowing others.
