Oblix's Corporate Directory provides a much-needed, web-based solution for the entire company. A wealth of customizable contact information is placed at every employee's fingertips through powerful search capabilities, interactive organization charts, personal information pages, customizable shortlists, and dynamic business cards.

Employees can search on such fields as name, department, or title; view contact information in a Java-based business card; and create personal shortlists. The scrollable and zoomable organization chart lets users drag a name to the top of the chart to show the company hierarchy from that employee's position.

Oblix's Corporate Directory is part of a larger suite of applications. The full commercial version features login sessions, file sharing, user-modifiable fields, a web-based administrative console, resource scheduling, a selector wizard, and a powerful array of group management capabilities.

Oblix's Corporate Directory uses Netscape LiveConnect for tight integration between Java and JavaScript. LiveConnect gets data from the server to the applet on the client side only when required, reducing network traffic.

Dynamic business cards allow users to get a brief summary of someone's personal information page without having to view the entire data set.
