A key feature of the Partner Communication System is the ease with which mass emailings can be sent and a history stored in the database. LiveWire calls a C function, which then calls the perl program to send the mass email. This feature is compatible with the Netscape Mail Server.

By handling BLOB objects in LiveWire, all a message's content is saved in the database as a text field.

JavaScript calls enable extensive use of interwindow communication. Find and Lookup windows are tightly integrated with the data-entry forms for entering detailed information.

LiveWire function dynamically creates an ASCII file report, which users can easily download.
