Lab 6: More Word-processing and DTP

Objectives:

1. Further understand the use of a word-processor
2. Be able to enhance a Word document by adding text art, clip-art and tables.

Method:

1. Read Lab 3 - Creating Reports and Newsletters (pages 127-145), and Lab 4 - Merging Documents and Creating Tables (pages 170-185) from Word 7.0a for Windows 95 before class.
2. Load Word.
3. Open the file Newsletter Articles from the CS101 folder and do the steps described in pages 127-145.
4. Create a new file and follow the steps described in pages 170-185.
5. Exit Word

Exercise: Due by the end of lab next week.

Create a party invitation. Your invitation should include WordArt, a picture and a list of invited guests and what they are to bring.
