- Crime on the Internet - This site includes an overview of Computer Crime and Security. It covers a wide variety of computer security topics including: computer break-ins, espionage, software piracy, internet pornography, e-mail bombing, spoofing,password sniffers, and credit card fraud. The page also includes links to a number of related resources.
- COMPUTER CRIME RESEARCH RESOURCES - This article, Computer Crime Research Resources, is an excellent site presenting research resources for those interested in the topic of computer crime. The site beings with the author’s perspective of computer crime and he provides discussion on where we are headed in this area. There are links provided to a number of online resources providing excellent coverage of the issues and available information regarding computer crime and law. The author also includes a definition of computer crime.
- Computer Crime is a well written discussion of computer crime written by a lawyer. The article describes a variety of types of computer crimes including computer viruses, altering websites, denial of service (DoS) attacks. The authors concludes the article with a discussion of computer crime statues in the USA and the responsiblity of journalist in reporting computer crime.
- FBI: Cybercrime on the rise, but few victims report it by Sam Costello (2002) - This artlcle gives statistics on the huge amount of computer crime that goes on, but the small amount of compnies that actually report it. If you read this article the numbers will shock you.
- National Infrastructure Preparedness Center
- This website is to the Department of Justice's computer crime website. This page has links that allows you to view such things as: policies, cases, guidelines, laws, and documents. Some main links off of the page include such topics as: computer crime, intellectual property crime, cybercrime documents, and cyberethics. There are also links to such general topics as: "How to Report Internet-Related Crime" and "Federal Code Relating to Cybercrime."
