Clear Counters
The router keeps detailed statistics regarding data passing across its interfaces.
Before using the show interface command, you may want to clear the existing interface information so that the statistics reported are new.
You can clear these statistics (counters) on an interface by typing:
If you want to clear the counters on all attached interfaces, you can use the clear counters command.
