Router Configuration Mode

• Yet another configuration mode accessible from the global configuration mode is router configuration mode.

• This mode allows you to enable routing protocols such as RIP and IGRP.

• The prompt will be router(config-router)#.

• You can move between the modes in several ways.

• The term going back means to go up one level towards user mode.
