ICC
The cabling between the ICC and the HCC is still backbone cabling.
Only the cable between the HCC's and workstation areas is considered horizontal cabling.
The table on the next slide shows the acceptable lengths of backbone cable for the type of cable that is used.
EIA/TIA-568 specifies no more than one ICC between an HCC and the MCC.
There should be no more than three wiring closets in a chain (including the MDF).
