IGRP Continued
IGRP, by default, supports four paths for a given destination, but can consider up to six different paths to the destination when evaluating the best path (load balancing).
The hold-down timer prevents temporary routing loops while convergence takes place.
Newly learned routes are used until the hold-down timer expires.
Split horizon and poison-reverse improves network performance by combating the count to infinity problem
To enable IGRP on your router, you must be in global configuration mode.
You will have to select an autonomous system number.
