CDP Continued
CDP only gives information on the devices that are attached locally to the device the command is issued on.
You can get information on remote routers, by telnetting to the remote router first, then using the appropriate cdp commands.
CDP broadcasts information every 60 seconds but you can change that using the cdp timer command.
CDP is enabled by default on all Cisco devices.
