Security Audit
The purpose of the security audit is to protect network hardware and software.
The security audit is on-going because networks are dynamic.
The following questions should be answered when performing the security audit:
- Which segments, directories, files, and devices require limited access via passwords or locks?
- What virus protection is needed?
- Which files should be backed up?
- What types of emergency and disaster recovery procedures should be implemented?
