Flush Mounting Continued
Once you have located a spot without an obstruction, trace the outline of the connector box at the location you have selected.
Make sure you can reach the location from above or below before continuing. There may be an obstruction in the wall that you can’t reach by twisting the wire around in the hole.
Use a level to ensure that your box is parallel to the ground.
Use a small saw or cutting tool (utility knife) to cut that outline out of the wall.
