Temperature and Humidity
Ensure that proper air conditioning is maintained for all wiring closets; the temperature should be 70 degrees Fahrenheit when all equipment is running.
The relative humidity should be maintained between 30% and 50%--too much humidity could corrode copper wires and equipment.
No water pipes should be routed through the room, except those required by fire codes.
