Multiple Wiring Closets
Wiring closet(s) should be located centrally on the network.
Ensure that the wiring can reach all devices by using a compass to draw a 50-meter radius around each proposed hub.
Using 50 meters, instead of 90 meters, leaves an additional 40 meters for wall to ceiling changes in elevation, routing around obstacles, and for getting through and around walls.
If you determine that multiple wiring closets are necessary for the network, determine which one should be the MDF, and label the rest as IDFs.
