Thinnet Connectors Continued
A common problem in the past on thinnet networks has been the substitution of 75-ohm terminators designed for RG-59 broadband cable for the 50-ohm terminators designed for RG-58 baseband networks (thinnet).
The terminators look identical but can't be substituted without network problems occurring.
Most terminators today have “50-ohm” etched on them for easier identification.
