• Frame relay can support multiple protocols and applications including LAN, SNA, on-net voice, and packetized video. End users can migrate from multiple parallel networks deployed to support each application to a single frame relay network. Simplification has many benefits including reducing costs, improving reliability and performance, and simplifying planning and re-engineering.
Frame Relay is enhanced by the ability to smoothly migrate to ATM when higher capacity is required. Allowing the customers to use get started with the more complex ATM in a gradual fashion. Learn the complexities and then apply them to the network as needed.
