class into small groups (3-4). Groups should discuss the issue of
employee e-mail privacy. Have
groups develop possible e-mail policies for a hypothetical company. The policies should serve the needs of
the company for control of electronic correspondence and protection
against threats such as theft of trade secrets, but should balance
reasonable considerations of employee needs and morale. Select spokesperson from group to report
to class on list (discuss groups’ lists)
- Break
class into small groups. Have each group discuss the section on computer
ethics on page 235 of textbook.
