Step 1: Opening NT Diagnostics |
Click Start menu. Choose Programs then "Administrative tools". Select "Windows NT diagnostics" from the menu. A shortcut to opening NT diagnostics is to run the command "winmsd".

Step 2: Opening Resources Tab |
Click the Resources tab to open it. |
Step 3: Viewing System Resources |
The resources tab is very important when troubleshooting your system. In case of IRQ conflict for example, you can check the IRQ window. There is also other information available by choosing the appropriate button from the window, DMA, I/O port, Memory and Devices are other options you can view in this window. |
Step 4: Closing NT Diagnostics |
Click "OK" button to close NT diagnostics.
