After you finish reading this chapter, read the paper Computer Security Threat Monitoring and Surveillance by James P. Anderson. This paper was published in 1980. Once you finish reading both Chapter 1 and this paper, think about following.
o How has computer security evolved since 1980 from perspective of threats and vulnerabilities?
o The paper described a security surveillance system (plan) in section 6. How useful such a system would be today?
