ADVISING

If you are interested in joining a graduate program in applied computer science at the TSYS School of Computer Science, then you should contact our School's Graduate Coordinator.

Some rules of thumb:
- Always consult with your Academic Advisor well before registering for a class and well before dropping a class (even when no advising holds appear on your ISIS record)

- Keep in mind that CPSC 6105 and CPSC 6106 cannot be used as part of the 36 hours of graduate coursework that a graduate student needs to complete to satisfy one of the requirements for graduation with the MS. (If your status is Provisional, then you may be required to pass either of both of these classes.)

- It is ultimately up to the student to choose his/her classes and courseload. Students are strongly advised that they must be sure to be able to set aside at least 14 hours per week to study for any one graduate course that they want to take..

Have questions regarding your progress towards your degree? Would like to register for classes?

--> Look in http://cs.columbusstate.edu/facstaff/advisors.php to find out who your Academic Advisor is, or see below to find out if I am your Academic Advisor and to get in touch with me as your Academic Advisor.

If your are an MS student whose last name begins with a letter that is between N and Z, then I happen to be your Academic Advisor, so be sure to use my MS Advising Form in order to get your advising done for upcoming terms. You must read the form carefully, fill it out, and then email it to me (TO; chouchane_radhouane@columbusstate.edu). This Advising Form step is a mandatory first step that we need to take before the beginning of each term in order to proceed with your Advising. A link to my Advising Form may be requested via email.
